The Reality behind Quality

One of our very early days at Sura – a quality checking circle. A yellow bag was stitched with red thread, a blue one with a white thread, a few other bags were not precise in measurement- I segregated all of these. When the women were asked to identify what they thought was wrong with these bags, they identified it all. After running through the quality check protocol once again, heaved a big sigh and asked them, “Will you spend money on a poorly stitched nighty or a salwar?!” Softly she said, “Earlier may be not, but now I will. Some woman, with similar struggles like me, would have stitched this- so I will buy”
