Kanavu Camp mornings begin with a morning circle – a space where teachers reflect on their experiences and share their leadership stories. In one such morning meeting, teachers were sharing about striving for excellence.
Mehar miss started the circle sharing, “I always think, wherever I go, I have to create an impression of mine. I have worked in my school for 11 years, and I planted some trees in the beginning. I looked after them with care every day and now the trees have grown tall and I feel so happy whenever I see students sitting under the shade. One day I will leave school but the trees will tell everyone that I was a part there. This for me is an example of legacy; of striving towards excellence.”
That is our story about excellence and the idea of leaving behind a legacy.
